Children's Museum Adventure!

Earlier this month Adam's mom invited to take us to the Children's museum in Denver using her nanny pass. It was interesting seeing all the "exhibits" and fun watching Boa's awe at some of the activities and wonders of science. Some of it made Adam and I realize what a fun and entertainment-based culture we live in, and put in us a desire that our kids have more than that - that they learn to be responsible, and learn REAL things as opposed to living in an unrealistic world... Either way, I enjoyed getting pictures of the boys with grandparents and Adam, and they really did enjoy themselves. Although, I'm not sure who enjoyed it most - Boa or grandma ;)

Ambrose hanging out with Grampa

Climbing over a bridge I think :)

He liked the funky fat cow. haha

"What is this place??"

Handsome daddy!

Cutie boy trying to heft that big raccoon.

Woah!

Looked like a funky wonderland.

Grandma showing him how to do it haha

Grandma's turn with Ambrose :)

One of those awkward - take-a-picture-of-someone-taking-a-picture shots...

I love that smile <3

"Ba'!"

He climbed up this staircase only to be trapped behind a net. Scary!

Ambrose enjoyed all the fun too obviously.

You could pretend to go fishing here.

Pretend famer's market.

Funny little garden thing where you plant seeds and then... pick vegetables? Adam and i didn't really like this one. It's called false educating. Just take the kid into a REAL garden and let him make it happen in real life. Doesn't make since to a 1 year old anyways.

Then we went upstairs to the "big kid" exhibits. But was amazing by the ball-maze things...

The balls rode on tracks along the ceiling. haha

Doing it himself :)

You put a flimsy piece of fabric on top of some jets of air and the fabric goes up and comes out from above.

Floating ball. Woah!

Boa and Daddy shooting off rockets.

Obviously these guys are having lots of fun haha

"Me first!"

Nope. Sharing.

Trying to catch some dry ice filled bubbles.

Try again later?

Get ready Boa!

Daddy's gonna put you in a bubble!

Ooooh!

Pop! And there's a mommy in the background!

Trying again... It's coming!

Almost got it!

Pooof! It exploded!

Trying again...

Caught a blurry picture right before it popped again.

That was our adventure. We'll see if grandma can drag us along for another one sometime. But thank you grandma and grandpa for such a fun time!
